Limpide Candle was born from a simple but urgent question: how do we create a healthier home?

For years, candles were my favourite way to unwind from the chaos of daily life. But suffering of asthma, I began to notice that the very rituals I used to relax were impacting my health. I realised how hard it was to find out exactly what ingredients leading brands were used into their products.

Driven by a need for clarity and a passion for craft, I bought a candle-making kit and taught myself the science of the clean burn. I didn't just want to make candles; I wanted to create a non-toxic sanctuary.

The Mission: Transparency & Impact

Today, Limpide Candle is a Black-owned, sustainable design studio based in London. We are small-batch by choice, driven by a passion for design and a commitment to total ingredient honesty.

Every single candle is hand-poured in London using 100% soy wax, FSC-certified wooden wicks, and premium oils infused with essential oils. No hidden toxins, no paraffin—just a clean, slow burn designed for mindfulness.

We believe that light shared is light multiplied. That is why we are proud to support our community by donating 10% of our profits to charities and foundations. When you choose Limpide, you aren't just buying a candle; you are supporting a healthier home and a better world.

 Meet the founder

I am a French Caribbean Londoner (living here for 10 years), but my heart often drifts back to Lyon, France, where my family resides.

I founded Limpide because I believe you shouldn't have to choose between a beautiful home and a healthy one. As someone managing asthma, I am obsessive about creating products that are conscious of our surroundings while still bringing joy and "quiet luxury" into our spaces.

When I’m not hand-pouring earth-friendly candles, you can find me cycling through the city, capturing black & white photography, learning to dance or beating my friends at board games.
